Author needs help blogging

Hi- I need help with adding a “Blog” section to my WordPress website. I’ve tried adding a page, and it doesn’t show up on the website.

Please help! I’m looking to have a blog section in the top of the website that chronicles my blogging for viewers, the same as I have pages that are dedicated to my “About Me” and “Buy the Book” section.
Any help is appreciated!! Thanks so much!
(By the way, the wordpress account is linked to an author page, the wordpress I am linking to this one is a brand new account that I created to help my friend). His account is the Nazi Account Book. Jaytotheme is just started.

Hey there – you’ll want to navigate to settings/reading from your dashboard.
At the top of the page you’ll see a section titled “Front Page Displays”. If you’d like your home page to also be your blog page, simply select “Your Latest Posts”
If you’d like to use a different page, create a blank page titled “blog”, or “news” or whatever you’d like. then come back to settings/reading and select the option “a static page”.
Next, in the two drop-downs, select the page you’d like to use for your your home page in the front page section, and select your blank blog page in the posts page section. Click “save changes” when you are done.
Finally, navigate to appearances/menus and add your blog link to your main navigation menu.
Note that this support forum is for blogs that are hosted and running on wordpress.com

Seriously, you’re asking in the wrong forum. With a .org blog there are many ways to do this.
