Author of Post problems

    Hi,
    I’m having a problem doing what seems like a simple function on my blog. For each post I simply want the authors name to appear under the headline and before the text in the body. I thought that this would automatically appear as each “author” contributed a post, but it does not appear to happen. Can you let me know what I am doing wrong?
