Author on a Blog- how do I add photos?

    I am an author on this blog and when I go to add photos, there is no “add media” section, nor do I see a media library where I can upload pictures. My options when creating a post look different than those I have seen on the screenshot help videos; is it possible I don’t have access to as many options as an author? What am I doing wrong? (I’m totally new to this)
