Author only able to view

  I added an author to my private site, but she is only able to view. She cannot create new posts other than comments. She cannot upload files/images. I followed these steps, http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/, but it didn’t seem to work.

  Also, when I go to All Users in my Control Panel, she does not show up, but when I go to Invite New, it shows that I already accepted her and shows her role as Author.

  Am I doing something wrong?
