Author photos in subscription email
-
When jetpack sends our subscription emails, there is only a default picture of the author. However, when I, just to test, add your author widget to my page, I see the authors WITH the picture I actually want to be presented in the email. Why doesn’t it show? I’ve searched the net and also looked here: https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/ but cacn’t find anything adressing the same issue.
Hope for some good advice here :)I sent this also a couple of hours ago, but realized I have no idea how I get the answear!! Does it appear up on a support-question-site, do I get a notice here i wp-admin, or what? I tried googling where support questions are answerated for jetpack, but could’nt find it …

Hi there!
You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
The Author Widget is a separate feature from the subscription emails. Also, which image are you asking about? For example, this is what a post notification looks like in Gmail – the first icon is the icon assigned to the email address in Gmail and the second is the author icon from the post.
If it’s the second image you’re having trouble with, check that the author has a Gravatar set in their user account as that is what should be used when a new post email is sent out.
If you still have trouble, you can contact Jetpack Support via their contact form if you have a paid plan, or their support forums over at WordPress.org if you do not and they can help sort this out for you.
I hope that helps!
