Author profile not showing

  I recently changed the theme of my blog and a few things have changed. Before changing, when you viewed one of the posts, the author and their author profile was on show at the bottom. This was a great way of promoting the authors and who they are. Now at the bottom, it says the authors name but their write up isn’t displayed and I dont know how to get it back. Ive looked through all the settings and cant find it.
  Also before changing theme, when I was writing a post, it was shown in the editor with the same dimensions as it would show after publishing. Now it doesn’t do that any more and I find it really hard to get my photos and text to fit the way I want it. Is there a way to amend this?

  Only a few themes are coded to provide an author profile. See here please > Author and profile displayed or not On the themes that are coded to display an author profile the data is derived from the Users > My Profile > About you section.
