author set up

    I set up a page for contributors. One wants to be an author. Do I need to resend invite with changed role? What is process? Does he have to set up an account? Can’t find any information on web site as to questions that will be asked of him.

    Hello there! If you would to add authors/contributors to your site, you can take a look at these steps:
    en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

    Authors and contributors must be WordPress.com members if you want them to be able to login independently and publish.
