  Hello all, is there a way to change the author slug on my WordPress.com blog? It must be an old blog URL name, but I cannot figure out how to change it. All I want it to be is my name or actual username, not the random URL my blog once had. Thank you!

  Hi,

  Your author slug, if I understand you correctly, should be your username. However, I was surprised to find that the URL https://talesofadulthood.wordpress.com/author/rctyler produces a 404 error.

  I’ve added a modlook tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention.

  The author link is fixed now, though you might have to clear your browser cache before you will see it.
