Author tag format

    Hi, we syndicated our blog and for our posts to get republished they need to have unique author tags in Firstname Lastname format. However, I noticed that some of our author tags are displayed without space. For example, johnsmish instead of John Smish. I thought that it depended on what the author filled in the Public Display Name. However, I see an author who’s Public Display Name shows Firstname Lastname, with a space, but the author tag in the post that’s attributed to this author shows firstnamelastname, without a space. Can you help me figure this out? Thanks
