  Any idea how to remove the link from the author text box at the top of the site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This gets rid of it, but do note that it was the ONLY “home” link you had that would take visitors back to the home page. You will want to add a home link to the navigation now.

  Is there a way to add a “home” link to a background image positioned in the header above the three columns?

  After putting in the image, then you have to create a transparent PNG image of the same size and put it into a text widget and size the text widget to the side of the image. Then you have to reposition that text widget (using position:absolute;) up and over the header image. The text widget has to be targeted by the widget ID#.
