Author widget- How to change displayed order of authors

  I need to change the order of authors appearing on my blog (using the author widget) to a specific order . Is there an easy way to do this?

  The Author widget displays the author’s names in the alphabetical order. There is no option on the widget to change this.

  Thanks very much for the answer. I see. That seems short sighted.

  Do you know if its possible to add two author widgets and somehow only include some authers in one and others in the 2nd widget?

  There are only few options on both the Authors and Author Grid widgets.

  There is also no shortcode, unfortunately.
