“author” widget problem

  i have a whole bunch of authors on one of my blogs.
  because of that, i put the “author” widget on my sidebar….
  the way it turns out is sideways going down and i dont want it to be like. i just want it to list up and down,
  is there anything i can do to fix it? or does it do that because the layout?
