authoring more than one wordpress blog
-
I have more than one blog. Everytime I write from the 2nd blog, the author shows up as from my firsts blog. I dont want that to show up. for example – my main blog is called @laptopincometoday. but when I write for the 2nd blog @over50andwithit, the author of the blog shows up as @laptopincometoday. How do I change that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

hi,
The author that shows up is the account you are logged in at wordpress.com/me
https://screenshots.firefox.com/FCrHX81FlXUWSQN2/wordpress.comTo ‘become’ @over50andwithit, sign out at wordpress.com/me, log in with @over50andwithit, then create posts at the second blog. This is assuming @over50andwithit is at least a Contributor at the second blog.
You can read more about user roles here:

Just to add here that every site you open under the same username account will use the same public display name you have chosen at https://wordpress.com/me and will share the same Gravatar account. https://gravatar.com
You could change your public display name to something more generic or you can open a second username account using a second unique email address.
The options then are to either add that second username account to your other site in a different user role, as @kosiew mentioned, or to completely transfer ownership of the site to the second username account. https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/ This means you would need to log in separately each time to manage/write for each site.
