I need to transfer my domain name to you but I think they don’t have authorization code … they sent me this email …
    my domain name is: abpsite.com
My email is … (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    … Thanks

Quickest way to make your domain work with any hosting or email provider.

    1. Login to Domain Manager
    https://www.123cheapdomains.com/domain-registration/manage-domains.html

    2. Click on the Change DNS Nameservers link.

    3. Replace the 2 DNS nameservers already listed with
the ones provided to you by your hosting provider:

The ones they provide you will look something like:

    ns1.your-provider.com
    ns2.your-provider.com

Once you’ve entered those DNS nameservers just click the Save
    Configuration button.

Your domain name will now to point to website hosting provider
and they should resolve your domain name to your website within
    less than 1 hour.

  • Howdy –

There are 2 ways to use that domain on WordPress.com.

Option 1 is Domain Mapping. That is what you described in the second part of the post. These are the instructions for that procedure: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ No authorization codes are needed.

Option 2 is Domain Transfer: You’ll need an authrorization code from the domain registrar in order to complete this process. The instructions are outlined on this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

Both options require that you add a paid plan to the WordPress.com account. See here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
