Authorization for using my own domain
-
Hello,
Can’t access my site puronokolkata.com neither from puronokolkata.wordpress.com. It always leads to Godaddy, because of not having their approval yet. I have got the Authorization Code from Godaddy. What should I do next for getting their approval? This is urgent request for your guidance. Thanks, AsokThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Asok,
I see that you already purchased the domain mapping upgrade for your WordPress.com blog, but it looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=puronokolkata.comPlease go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMFor more information, please visit the help documentation provided by GoDaddy and our support page here: Map an Existing Domain
If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

Great solution, Rachel! Thanks a lot! It worked almost instantly giving me smooth access. But, there should be many more hurdles, I fear, for me to sort out at this initial stage. I am going to post separately another issue for your attention. Warm wishes, – Asok

This is all about my problem for DNA’s record generation, that I need for setting up email server at puronokolkata.com.
Can’t generate my validated DNS records
Gets Error messae:
Server error – Sorry, you’ve reached a login page for a domain that isn’t using Google Apps. Please check the web address and try again.
Possible reasons:- 1. The domain name has not been signed up for Google Apps.
In this case, go to http://www.google.com/a to sign up your domain for Google Apps.
2. The domain name is configured as a domain alias for another domain, and it is the other domain that is registered with Google.Which one can be the reason? How to deal with the issue?
Help me please, friends! - 1. The domain name has not been signed up for Google Apps.

Hi there,
I see that you entered the sample records in your domain’s custom DNS settings (located under Store > Domains in your dashboard). If you would like to use email with your domain, you will need to get the specific records used by your email service provider for your domain.
You can find instructions to adding email with your custom domain here: Add Email
To use Google Apps with your domain, you will need to sign up for Google Apps with your domain and then set it up according to these instructions: Add Email through Google Apps
If you have further questions about this, please let me know! :)
