Authorize.net payment processing plug in errors

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

Customers aren’t able to pay on my website, I made sure my Authorize.net plug ins were updated and put in new API keys but every time I try to save them I get an error message stating:

‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.’

I am referring to the plug-ins:

    Authorize.Net CIM for WooCommerce

    and

    Authorize.net Payment Gateway For WooCommerce

I have tried deactivating them and reactivating them, I have tried leaving one on and the other off, nothing is working.

I need this fixed so people can checkout and purchase products from my website.

    Thanks,

    Logan

  • Hi @gearuptacticalstuff,

I’m afraid that we can’t help directly because your gearuptacticalstuff.com site is not with WordPress.com managed hosting. As such, we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

Instead, your host uses open-source WordPress.org software, which differs from what we offer here on WordPress.com.

The good news though is that help is available in the WordPress.org forums:

I also suggest using the Health Check plugin to check for plugin/theme conflicts. You can install it by following this link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check

You can use its troubleshooting mode to deactivate all plugins for your browsing session only (other site visitors will not be affected). Once installed, you can access troubleshooting mode by going to Tools → Site Health.

I hope that points you in the right direction.
