Author/Profile page links
-
I recently created a blog for an event for which there were several authors responsible for posting, so we created author profiles for each of them. However, when you click on the author’s name at the top of the post, it opens a 404 Not Found page. Why doesn’t it link to a profile page? How can I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In most WordPress.com themes, the authors widget will link to a list of that author’s posts. You would see a 404 Not Found message if that author doesn’t have any published posts yet.
Very few of the current themes use profile information in the author page. MistyLook does though. You may want to try out MistyLook.

Hmm, but the authors do have published posts. Is there any other reason this would be happening?

We can’t help you without the URL of the specific blog you’re talking about. The one linked to your name has no posts.

The blog is at http://www.thebusinessofrisk.com. Sorry about that! Thanks for your help.

I’m sorry to tell you that that blog is not a wordpress.COM blog and we cannot provide support for it here. You must post to http://wordpress.ORG/support to get support with that blog.

I noticed the links to author pages in your blog are missing a slash right before “author” in the URL. Definitely head over to http://wordpress.org/support/ to get help and make sure to include a note about the missing slash.
