Authors and Pages

  Hi, I have multiple pages on my blog that include my blog and information about it but i would like to dedicate a page to authors. Is there a way to make it so thats the only page they can start blogs on? Also is there a way that i can make it so authors can only post in 1 category?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Also is there a way when a author posts a new blog, make it so it doesn’t show on the home page?

  Thank you. Unfortunately, the literal answer is no, you can’t do that. What you CAN do is use the Author’s widget and then anyone can call up all of one author’s posts by clicking on their name. You can also set a static page as the front page, and then it’s easy to make a link to each author’s contents right on that page; it will, unfortunately, hurt your search engine ranking.

  Thanks. What I think I’m going to do is use the Author’s and category widget.

  How do change authors for a particular post? Maybe he should be a contributor, not sure what the difference is.
