Authors Cannot Access Site

  I invited some people to access my site as authors. They did not have wordpress accounts. After setting up their accounts, wordpress did not recognize their account names, so they cannot sign in. However, they cannot create new accounts, because when they attempt to use their email addresses, the site says they already have accounts.

  So, they have never accessed their accounts or sites, so they cannot do full the full account reset. They need to be able to access wordpress via these specific email addresses.

  Please hide the email addresses in question, but I want to include them in case a staff member can figure out what is going on with their accounts: (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi feminiowan,

  Both of the users you invited had not accepted their invitation to become users. I have resent their invitations.

  I also do not see account signups for either of those email addresses in our system. If they cannot sign up for/log into WordPress.com using those email addresses, please ask them to contact us directly via email for further assistance.
