Authors do not appear in Modularity Lite theme

Hi guys, I have a little problem and i have no idea how to solve. I’ve recently changed the theme of my blog, now i use Modularity Lit and at the end of each article there isn’t the nickname of the author who wrote it. How can I fix this?

Your theme is behaving exactly as it is meant to behave. Some themes display author bylines and some do not. The choice was made by the theme designer. In themes where author bylines are not provided by the theme each author can type their name into the top line of the posts they create “by ___ “. You can create a Category for each author’s name and they can assign it to all their posts. You have 4 courses of action you can take:
(1) change to a theme that displays author names;
(2) create a copy and paste author name byline blurb and place it ant the end of each post prior to publishing the post;
(3) add an author byline at the top of each post prior to publishing;
(3) consult Staff or thesacredpath to see if an author name can be included if you purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do some CSS editing. -
Thank you for your time and for your help. I have only a question, i want to follow step 2, but i didn’t really understand what is a byline blurb and how put it at the end of each article.

Well some themes have a byline (author’s name) and then use text from the About You section on this page > Users > My Profile
You could create your own copy and paste including a link from the author name to the Category you create for their name. This is an example of using my “About you” but it won’t be linked to a Category here.
