Authors having trouble logging in to blog

  Hi, my authors are having trouble logging into the blog. They said they are using the link sent to them through the invite and it’s not working. Can someone explain to me step by step as to how the authors are to log in to my blog in order to publish their posts?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What are the wordpress.COM username accounts of these people please?
  Are they logged into wordpress.COM when they click to accept the invitation?

  I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff response.

  I will have to check with the others to see what their user names are, however, one of them already had an account with wordpress.com his user name is dreyaz or The Thought Emporium one of the two. The other signed on as a author an her user name is blueblessings06

  They need to have a WordPress.com user account and should be logged into the user account prior to clicking the accept link.

  So basically, they would sign in just like anyone else. They would go to wordpress.com, sign in with their user name and password and also if they are new to wordpress have them create account first, before sending an invite or as the invite state it will prompt them to get a user name that they will be able to sign in with…

  Yes, except that for whatever reason (system or user) there seem to be muckups when people go through the “prompted to signup” process. Which is why I typically encourage them to have an account created prior to clicking the accept link.

  If you are sending invites via email, they should be creating a WordPress.com account using that same email address.
