Author’s name not showing next to post.

  The authors’ names are supposed to be shown next to their posts right? http://frenz4evrhaha.wordpress.com/

  This changed recently. Author names are no longer showing up next to posts I noticed that too. I’m not sure why.

  I am trying to launch a blog with multiple authors, and this isn’t feasible if the author’s name isn’t showing. :(

  It is theme dependent. As an example, the author does show up on the Mistylook theme. You can use the preview function under presentation > themes in your dashboard to find which do and which do not. Alternaltely if the theme you are using is the one you want to use, have your authors put their name at the beginning of their posts.

  I can’t believe I just spent hours toying with the CSS for my site, only to find out there is no way to display multiple author names. Is there really no option for me other than choosing another theme that does display names?

  1. As TSP mentioned, authors can add their own byline to each post, either at the beginning or the end (or in the middle, but i wouldn’t recommend that)
  2. Create a category for each author’s name and make sure they use the category on every post
  3. Create a tag for each author’s name and make sure they use the tag on every post
