Author’s names not showing

I just started a new blog with my friends at lunchtimebanter.wordpress.com
I want to make it so the authors’ names are automatically shown when they post. Is that possible with the theme I am using?

Blix is one of the themes that do not show author’s in the post metadata, and there is no way really to add it other than have your author’s add a “byline” at the beginning of each post. You’re other choice of course is to change themes.

When you say byline is that something they have to add each individual time or is that a sort of option they can automatically enable?

There’s no “automatic” option, so the author’s name would be sort of part of the post text, a signature. The theme does not show the author’s names, but if you add the author widget to the sidebar, you’ll have the possibility to show the posts by author.
