authorSTREAM embed code doesn’t work

authorSTREAM embed code which works well with blogger and other websites fail to work with wordpress .What is wrong with following embed code :

It uses shockwave flash, which is stripped out here for security, as are iframes and javascript.

Thanks for your response .But I see so many embeds having flash object working fine on wordpress .Whom Should i contact to get this embed working on wordpress blogs.

It is perfectly possible but only if you install Vod:Pod’s Beta button. The second download here: http://vodpod.com/wordpress
Then you post via Vod:Pod to a post, a draft or a widget.

I just need a simple solution that anyone get embed from authorSTREAM and post it in WordPress blog without the need of any third party tool .Do I need to tweak my embed code.

Vod:Pod will and can post that PowerPoint for you in a very simple way. I just tested authorSTREAM and posted a slideshow via the Vodpod button.
It works like a charm.
Or you can use SlideShare or some of the other slideshow hosts that WP allow us to display without the use of VodPod.
But if you want an authorSTREAM show the only way is the Vod:Pod way.

Do I need to contact WordPress authorities or authorSTREAM need to have some partnership with WordPress . -
WordPress already allows you to embed authorSTREAM. You can display an embedded ppt slideshow in a post on you blog if you use the Vod:Pod system that WordPress.com have made available for you.

I tried it and it says :”Bad Request. Denied by URL Filter”
One more thing .Why this addin is not required for slide.com or SlideShare ? -

If your url is still invalid at Vod:Pod’s site you should try and click your confirmation email again. The one that you just received when you opened an account at VodPod and registered yourself as a user.
Because your did of cause do that?
Just as you registered your blog at Vod:Pods site so that know where to embed your slideshow?

Vod:Pod’s site is down right now. You might just have been unlucky – it seems they are having trouble.

Those are self-hosted blogs powered by WordPress software or VIP blogs at WordPress.com. It is not possible to embed shockwave flash on a standard free blog hosted at WordPress.com without a third party tool.

What about slideshare .I checked and they provide embed for wordpress which works fine without installing any third party tool.
