Auto Focus: How to fit/shrink images into the homepage's image boxes?

  Hi,

  I am trying to find out how to fit featured images into the main page’s/home page’s image boxes that thread every new post.

  Is there any positioning or cropping to fit the image neatly?

  if there was a photo of a wall with a graffiti for example, how would I get the focus on the graffiti? (it rather is on the wall… )
