    How can I disable the automatic list?

    By default the block editor will take your text and format it as a list, since this is a best practice for SEO optimization. Properly formatted lists will help your content to be understood by Google bots when they scan your site and index it, for example.

    If I can ask, is the issue with how the appearance of lists are with the current theme you are using? If so you may want to consider switching to a different theme.
