auto-generated list of recent posts formatting problem

  I have a strange cosmetic issue. I have an automatically generated list of recent posts on my front page, and there is a line made up of underscores following the post date. It isn’t selectable text, it’s just there.

  I’ve tried making a new page, and that didn’t work. I’ve also tried changing the date format–no good.

  Help!

  You’re seeing that line because of how your theme’s CSS styles that entry-meta section.

  You can add this to your Additional CSS in the Customizer to remove that line:

  .entry-meta:after {
      border: none;
  }
