Auto generated (possibly related posts)

    I often dislike the automatically generated (possibly related) posts that WordPress takes the initiative to post at the bottom of many of my posts. Often, I intensely disagree with them. In journalism, there is room for reading both sides, but a personal blog is not always about “showing both sides.” Some of these “related posts” are even offensive, My readers have commented to me privately about how weird they often are.

    Can they be stopped or deleted?

    I hate to leave WordPress, but I may have to… these random “cross references” are not always a perk.

    Turn them off. A search of the support pages for “related posts” brought this: http://support.wordpress.com/related-posts/

    Also, putting your email address in a public forum is a sure way to get yourself hundreds of offers a day for discount pharmaceuticals. Spammers scan looking for fresh meat all the time.
