Auto-generated "You might like"
-
On a blogger’s wordpress.com reader page, there is the auto-generated list of blogs that wordpress.com automatically and randomly (I guess) chooses for you to browse that:
*matches against your selected tag or category topic (similar interests)
*had liked previously
*another blog that others liked /followed tooI noticed that this autogenerated list gives me often the SAME blog sites. It’s like an endless loop of …repetitive boredom to me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but I cannot help you as I don’t have this “feature” on my free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Perhaps my response to the undercover testing of the feature is the reason why that is https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/you-might-also-like-pop-up-box/page/2?replies=49
I’ll tag this thread for a Staff response as I’d like to know why this feature is not available to me on either of my blogs at:

Hi there,
I’m sorry that your Reader isn’t giving you better selection of blogs. What I’d suggest is that you choose your own topics and add them to the Reader so you can find blogs that suit your personal interests.

You know, Jackiedana WordPress.com either should just eliminate it or change the alorgithm for the auto-generated list.
I assume it’s some sort of mathematical programming script that grabs blogs based on some sort of category/tag match or ones I’ve liked.
