Auto-Load Auto-Open Lightbox Gallery on page load

  Is there a way to automatically load/activate a lightbox gallery when a visitor clicks on one of the “portfolio projects” on this page

  Currently when a visitor clicks on a featured image / portfolio project on this page the viewer is taken to a new page with square thumbnails which if you click one of these thumbnails, it opens a lightbox gallery…but I would like the lightbox gallery to automatically open once the page is loaded / the link is clicked, rather than making a user click two thumbnails to open a gallery.
