Auto Populate Blog Posts With RSS Feed
-
The site that I’m setting up for a client is intended to be more of a website with the blog complimenting static content. We have permission to use content from other’s blogs, but I’m not sure of how to automatically feed that content into our site. If this is possible using wordpress.com please let me know and thanks for the help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s the favorite tool of spammers and it’s NOT allowed at wordpress.com. WordPress.com is a blogging platform. It’s not a aggregation platform. The RSS feed widgets cannot be used on pages or post.
Your best bet is to hire a web host and get a free software install form wordpress.ORG
Wordpress.COM versus wordpress.ORG http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -
That’s what I figured. Thanks for the help and I’ll see if they’re interested in making the change. Oh, and I promise it’s NOT spam! :-)

Okay but just so you are clear the RSS widgets in a wordpress.com blog will not operate anywhere other than in the sidebar of the blog.

There isn’t a way to automatically feed that info to the blog, not even via the Post from Email option (because it doesn’t work with forwarded info at all). But you could just paste them in as posts and add titles, categories and tags.
