WordPress.com supports original content only blogging and we don’t provide any support for creating duplicate content across domains. Take note of what Google’s position on that here > https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66359?hl=en

Hi thanks for the response!
I was hoping it would be you!!
A similar topic was closed last year.
What I am trying to do is use post by email Feature of WordPress.com to populate a self hosted WordPress site. That is, multiple people feed into a WordPress.com email and them that is auto posted to our real blog. Problem is the post my email plug in is in it’s infancy at the moment.
Thanks,
DerOr another option would be great!

1. I cannot help you.
2. There is not other option.
3. We are at loggerheads. I do not approve of duplicating content and that’s an understatement. I research and write for a living and search results were polluted with duplicated content created by opportunistic SEO gamers who waste my time using Google search by finding the same content has been duplicated everywhere. I was delighted when Google finally created their Penguin algorithm that detects duplicate content and hurls both the duplicate and the original to the end of search results where the sun don’t shine. -
Again thank you for the quick reply.
I absolutely agree with you on duplicate content!!!
I have feeds coming into a RSS reader and easily the are 4 or 5 versions of the same thing coming in the whole time, it wastes storage, network traffic, time in finding the original source, and most importantly it belittles the effort that the original content creator put in!What I am looking for is technical solution that WP.com has that I want in WP self hosted.
And I was going to try and use WP as a hidden middle man to do the having lifting for me.
My site is actually a knowledge management system that I want people to be able to populate using email. This is my problem and I am own to any options to get it to work. From your experience do you know of a way?
anyone else out there?Thank you

Hi,
Anyone out there that could assist with this issue?
I want to use a system the same as or similar to “Post by email” of WP.com to populate a content management system.I am totally open to any options to make this happen, as it is in early development as a plug in for WP.org.
Is there a better way for me to to this?
Or does someone know how i can get WP.com to auto forward a post.Or another service or interface that I could put in-between my users and WP hosted so that they can auto forward content to WP and not need to recreate the content in WP?
The content is automatically created over the course of a business day via email. i.e. problems identified, solutions provided (via email)
I want to put this content into a content management system, and I hoped to use WP but alias I don’t think it will work.
Thanks,
Der -
