Auto post to Facebook & Twitter, from scheduled WP,posts has stopped working

Hi

Publicize to FB and Tw has stopped working as of a few days ago. Email publicize still works.

I have tried
1. disconnecting and reconnecting both accounts
2. revoking WP access in both accounts, then recreating the connections in WP and re-authorizing WP in both accounts
3. logging out from all 3 accounts, clearing cookies and cache, restarting browser, logging back into all 3 accounts, and then repeating the re-authorization process in step 2.

However none of this worked. I cannot find any other suggestions in WP Support or in the Forums. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue, stopped working on the 17th Feb. Noticed it isn’t working for Facebook, Tumblr.

I am having the same issue. My post scheduled for this morning, Feb 19 @ 6:00am CST did not automatically publicize to Facebook and Twitter. The post was available in my RSS feed, and I saw it show up in Feedly (my feed reader) today as expected.

Earlier this week, I had a scheduled post on Monday, Feb 17 @ 6:00am CST that successfully publicized to Facebook and Twitter. So it seems to have stopped working between then.

I just want to be clear about something in case it’s been missed by bloggers posting here. Scheduled posts do NOT actually publish until the first visitor to the site after the date and time scheduled triggers the publication.

Hi timethief. I can’t speak for anyone else, but all my scheduled posts are publishing on WP just fine.

The problem is that they’re not appearing on the connected platforms like Facebook or Twitter.

To update extra information that may be useful for Staff:

I have had 11 scheduled posts publish successfully on the WordPress blog since 17th Feb, but 0 out of the 11 have been pushed to Facebook, Tumblr or Google+ (my only social networks on Publicize).

However, I use IFTTT.com to publish from WordPress to Twitter rather than via WordPress Publicize (due to needing images published to Twitter rather than full articles) and IFTTT has worked successfully during this period of time publishing all 11 posts to Twitter.

I have disconnected and reconnected Facebook, and revoked access and allowed it again, and none of this makes any difference to Publicize working again.

Going from the multiple complaints it seems that it is a Publicize issue with
posts, where the scheduled post is publishing to the blog but then failing to send the post to any social media streams. There are also complaints on the forum regarding email notifications not being sent to subscribers when a post is published and this could also be (but not confirmed) because the posts may have been scheduled rather than published immediately .

I hope this clear information about the problem helps a swift resolution. Many thanks to Staff for looking into it, and to Timethief for highlighting it to the correct people.

Same issue for me. Scheduled posts not publicizing for Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr. Manual “publish now” posts will publicize. All posts successfully publish to my WP page, the only issue is with publicizing. Have tried disconnecting and reconnecting accounts. Thanks to those above for bringing it to the staff’s attention.

I’ll join the party. Twitter, Google+ and Tumblr, but I believe the RSS feeds are working fine. I can’t vouch for e-mail.

Forgot to add, this is the bwspotlight.com site. My other site hasn’t updated yet because it’s a weekly site and this only started after my early Monday post.

My issue started before Feb 17 as I asked for help the 14th. The publicize feature to FB is not working on any new posts, so the trouble is NOT JUST for scheduled posts.
