Auto Renew

    I was charged $99 today without having purchased. My auto renew had been off and I had removed my credit card info to be sure. When I try to request a refund as your FAQ section suggests, there are no payments and no card on file. Please help me clear this up without FAQ..

    The account you’re using to post here does not own any upgrades on WordPress.com. The recent premium plan renewal on your site was made to the account, laurahennessey7, who is the owner of the site and the upgrades on it.

    Auto-renew has not been cancelled for that account, and in fact the owner of that account added a new credit card for the Premium Plan in January.

    If that is also your account, please log in as that username and post here to confirm, and we’ll be happy to issue you a refund.

    Else, if that account is not yours, and the owner of that account used your card without your permission, let me know and we can follow up on that for you.

    when i log into that account i see that no credit card is on file.. i definitely tried to make sure this didn’t happen but if you could help me make sure it doesn’t happen again and help me refund now that would be great.

    No problem. I’ve disabled the upgrades from the account and processed the refund. That money should reach you in about ten days.
