auto renew information

    I was charged. I woke in the morning not realising that you have charged me. I instantly thought this was a fraudulent transaction and blocked my card. It would be nice if you send a notification email that renewal is due and it would be auto renewed, let’s say a week in advance.
    Thoughts?

  • We don’t want anyone to be surprised either. We send out auto renewal notification emails 14, 7, and 2 days prior to the autorenewal.

    I would be happy to cancel or refund that transaction for you.

    Please do NOT cancel the transaction. I am concerned that appropriate information did not reach me as informed by you. Please get the email triggers checked for correctness.

  • I realize that it is an obvious thing, but have you checked your spam and/or “social” folders?

    Yes, I have checked the spam and social and other such folders. I even did a search. These emails sure didn’t come through this time around. I did receive the WordPress.com Receipt, a few hours after the transaction.

    Anyways, enough said. I believe there is a bug in the code somewhere that didn’t trigger the desired emails and I’m sure you must have already reported it to the IT team.
