auto renew of WordPress.com

I have just received an autorenew email from help@wordpress.com (WordPress.com Upgrades), warning me of an autorenew in 4 days. I may not need or want this autorenewed! I assume my credit card will be debited as before – I’ve been paying since 2015 and have receipts – but the prev purchases do not show up in my profile under ‘Manage Purchases.’ All I see there are previous purchases of Akismet (now deactivated).

It’s not an upgrade, but a serious mistake. It’s for a site that never went live: grahamhayman,wordpress.com
Seems I started paying for what I thought was the WP software but was actually for hosting – then I created my own domain [redacted] that is hosted independently by [redacted]

I cancelled the auto payment from the other end: my paypal a/c because I could not find where to stop it in WP. Still curious though; where would I cancel it in WP?

Since you have already removed your credit card it doesn’t matter, but I’ve turned the auto-renewal feature off for everything on your account.
