My credit card has been charged Euro 99 on March 23rd. I had no e-mail confirming this charge, and need a receipt for this transaction

I would be happy to assist you in receiving your receipt for the renewal. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. Until recently, you were able to renew an upgrade that was under your account, but now only the owner of the upgrade can. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into providing a receipt. However, you should be able to retrieve the receipt on your end if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.

This all started with a charge to my credit card with the description WPCHRG.COM. There is a reference number, but I don’t wish to post this information on a public forum.
If I navigate to WPCHRG.COM it takes me to a WordPress.com webpage, so I know the payment was made to WordPress
There was no e-mail or communication from WordPress indicating this payment would take place, nor any confirmation that it had taken place.
All I need is confirmation of what this payment is/was for, and which website it relates to. If WordPress cannot tell me that then I need to take steps to recover this payment.
How do I move this forward?

I cannot confirm what the charge is for until I gather more information. When you visited WPCHRG.COM, were you able to fill out the information there to get more details about the charge? If you haven’t done that yet, I would suggest doing so and your information should pull up.

Hi – yes I did fill out the details, but nothing came back. However, it prompted for the payment amount in $, but my credit card has been charged in euros and then converted to £, so I do not have a $ value

Ok – I can confirm a little more. On April 21 2016 I made a payment from my card of 99 euros. the confirmation e-mail that came back had my name as Mr E Avery (instead of Mr James E Avery).
The confirmation e-mail was sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff) because we were working from his computer at the time.
The payment does appear to be in relation to pglabels.wordpress.com
All I need is a vat invoice as proof of payment for the amount taken from my card on March 23 2017

Nothing appears to have come through. Ideally it needs sending through to (email visible only to moderators and staff), after all, it is my credit card that made the payment

I can only send the receipt to the email that is connected to the account. It’s an automated system that sends an email to the owner. If you have access to that account, you can get the receipt through the billing history:

Hi -This has still not been resolved. Not sure what you mean by ‘the Account’? My e-mail address appear to be the one setup, but I’ve had nothing e-mailed through. Could you please advise which e-mail address you have – it should be (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
The account is connected to the tim[at]pghortculture email that you mentioned earlier. That is the only email the receipt can be sent to.
If it is your credit card that was charged, you might want to look back in your records to see if you still have the transaction confirmation. With that you can provide proof of ownership and I can provide access to the billing information.
All our payments are processed by PayPal (even if you paid directly with a credit card).
PayPal can provide you with this transaction ID, which we can then verify on our end. It’s a 17-digit number. You can reach them at:

When contacting PayPal, please have the following details of the transaction ready:
– Name on card
– Amount and date of transaction

Transaction reference is 8772733049 – Like I say, all I need is a copy of the invoice.
E-mail address tim@ etc does not exist anymore.
When I log into WordPress why does it show me my e-mail address, but the copy invoice can’t be sent to it???

Because the upgrade is not under your account – it is under Tim’s account. There is no history of any transactions under your account. You must’ve paid for the upgrade under Time’s account. Again, if you know Tim’s login credentials, you’ll be able to receive the invoice that way – or, if you can provide the Paypal transaction confirmation. The reference you provided is not the confirmation – it is a 17 digit ID.

We’ve now checked back as best we can Tim’s e-mail history, and we have no record of an invoice or receipt being sent. Could this be sent again please?
To be honest, this is getting rather tedious. All I want is a bloody receipt for Christ’s sake
