I would like a refund. I was unaware that it would renew automatically and do not want to pay for Word Press this year

re: Auto-RenewAutomatic renewal is enabled on all upgrades with up-to-date payment information. You can confirm whether automatic renewal is enabled for your plan via Purchases. Click the upgrade you wish to check to view renewal details. If the upgrade is set to expire then click on the Renew button and follow the screen prompts.
You can turn off automatic renewal for your domain name or plan by choosing the option to cancel on the Purchase page. If your domain name or plan is outside of our refund window then it will stay active until its expiration date and you will not be automatically charged for its renewal.
re: Cancelling PlansYou can cancel your plan via Purchases. Click the button to Cancel below the plan details. Follow the prompts to cancel your plan, and be sure to check your email for a link to confirm your cancellation.

re: Refunds
WordPress.COM has a 30-day refund policy on all their paid plans, except for Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. The refund period for Guided Transfers ends 30 days after purchase or as soon as your site has been moved, whichever comes first.You can still cancel your plans after 30-days but you wont we refunded for your cancellation so it is suggested that you stay on the plan and let it expire.
NOTE:
You will be refunded to the same payment method you used for your purchase. After processing, refunds usually take about a week to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it may take 5-7 business days to appear on your online bank account or in 1-2 billing statements.

I would be happy to assist you in cancelling and refunding your purchase. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into refunding the subscription purchase.
