Auto renewal charged a full month EARLY. Please explain.

  Hello. I want to know why you charged me $99 for my auto-renewal when I didn’t initiate the blog/contract until 12/22/12. I should not have been charged for the auto-renewal UNTIL it expired on 12/22. You are cheating me out of a month AND does this mean next year you will charge me a month early yet again? Please advise why this charge was done a full month early.

  Hi Deanna,

  To avoid accidental loss of the domain due to transaction issues, WordPress.com Premium upgrade auto-renewals are charged 30 days in advance. However, this does not mean that you would be cheated out a month. The new expiration date is December 23rd, 2014 (not November).
