  There is no way to set up an auto reply message for the contact form.

  You could set up a work-around by having your contact form email a separate address like (email visible only to moderators and staff) (or if you have email hosting (email visible only to moderators and staff)) then, on that email address, you can set a permanent vacation message and change the reply-to address to your real email address.
