Auto save doesn't complete and if I close the programme I lose all new work

    Whenever autosave commences it will not complete and the only way I can stop it is to close the programme which means I lose anything not saved. I use the save draft function from time to time which appears to work well but if I leave the computer for any time and autosave starts I will lose all new work. Ideally I would turn autosave off altogether as it creates more problems than it solves. In fact I don’t think it solves any.

    Hi @diablodiaries, sorry to hear that. Is there any chance you’re editing with more than one browser tab opened to the same post? If so, can you be sure to just leave one tab open?

    If you’re definitely not leaving multiple tabs open to edit a single post, please send more details — we’ll see if we can duplicate this.

    Also, if you’re going to leave the browser for a while, I would recommend closing the tab (and possibly bookmarking it) if needed.
