Auto save emails
-
How can I stop WordPress from emailing me ‘changes to my post’ every time it auto saves as I write? I don’t need 66 emails with every new sentence I’ve written on a post. I want only changes after a post is completed emailed to me.
Thanks!

Thank goodness I’ve never experienced this. Please type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. They will. Staff work their way forward through threads tagged with modlook from those with the earliest datetamps to the most recent ones. All you need now is patience.

Hi @beccajboud, interesting issue! Is this happening while you’re editing an already published post, or does it happen on drafts too?
Also I assume you’re using the new editor since it auto-saves revisions.
-
It happens from the second I start a draft. If it auto-saves mid-title for the post I get an email.
-
Okay, you have an option to email draft changes to yourself. Do you want to disable that option?
If you do want to keep it on, and if you had an option to only email some of the changes to yourself, which ones would you send? We wouldn’t be able to change that now, but I could pass along the feedback.

Yes, I would be fine disabling the changes emails altogether. I wasn’t able to find the correct tab to locate that option (on PC or iPhone) but if you can direct me that would be great!
Thank you!

It’s an older setting not available in Calypso yet, but you can get to it here:
