Autofocus post order and sub menu

  Hello,
  I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have two issues with my site I am trying to resolve.

  1) How do I order the pages on the homepage so the oldest post is first?

  2)I have created a link at the top so each speaker has a link on each page. I would like to have the title of “Speaker”, then have all the names fanning out horizontally ideally.

  If anyone could help with these issues I’d be very thankful.

  for your first problem
  you can quick edit the post you want to show at top
  In quick edit select the option of sticky notes
  now your post will be on top

  Thanks got the sub menu working :) But the sticky option didn’t work. They stayed in order of newest post first and it also made all the posts in to a list so lost the cool tiled effect.

  Any other ideas?

  Also does anyone know how to manipulate pictures on the homepage? So i can dictate which part of the picture is shown and how bigger section of it.

  You can make oldest posts first by editing the date of every post as you make it, so your blog appears to be going back in time.

  Unfortunately I need the date displayed over the pictures on the front page. Not to wory. I have one more questions if anybody can help.

  I want to hide a section on each of my posts. Its the bit thats says the “20th september…”
