Automated Posting?
-
I want to write a blog post the day before it goes live, set it to post itself at midnight, and wake up the next day with my blog automatically updated. I’ve heard of people doing this before, but for the life of me I can’t figure it out.
So how do I set a timer on my saved posts to automatically publish?

On the right-hand side of the write post page, you’ll see a place to set the date and time. Just put in when you want it to go live, and realize that WordPress itself is on GMT, so take that into account.

So if I change the settings under the “Post Timestamp” heading and set the time stamp to the future, it will automatic go live at the time I set? I don’t have to do anything else?

It will also appear in the tag pages and Most Recently Updated at that time, although in the tag pages it will appear as if it were posted at the time it was written, if you follow me.
