automatic comment whenever I post

  How come every time I post a new entry I get an automatic comment “pingback” that’s just a chunk of exactly what I wrote? It always sends a chunk of my own article as a comment to approve…why?

  This will typically happen if you link to an existing post of yours within your new post.

  It appears you are cross-linking posts, which counts as a “Ping” (also known as a reference from another page, albeit your own in this case). This is called “self-pinging” and there’s nothing wrong with it, although it can be irritating.
