Automatic display thumbnail or feature image

Dear Sir,
I created my first WordPress website. Earlier I worked with Blogger website. If you post YouTube or any other video embed code in Blogger, it will automatically add thumbnail or feature image to the post. But I noticed that when posting YouTube or other video embed code on WordPress website, the thumbnail or feature image of the video does not automatically show the extra ed.
Now the question is how to automatically display thumbnail or feature image if I post YouTube or any other video embed code on my WordPress website?Correct account: Unknown

Hi there, by default the WordPress software does not take the thumbnail of a video to act as the featured image. Generally you do still need to manually add the featured image as in the guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/One possible alternative might be to use a theme which supports microformats:
https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/post-formats/These can sometimes offer the thumbnail-as-featured image, for example:
