automatic imports from blogger

  Hi.

  I’ve set up an import from my blogger blog and it’s imported my couple of posts fine. will it continue to auto import new posts from blogger or do I keep needing to import manually?

  What are you trying to do, exactly? The import function was built to help people move their blogs from one platform to another, not to duplicate the same blog content in different platforms. That’s why nobody’s answered you; nobody’s encountered that before.

  Staff here have requested that if your WP.com blog is just a duplicate of one you’re actively updating elsewhere, that it be set to Private. This is to discourage people who are only using WP.com for it’s googlejuice. Also, you should know that duplicated content means that search engines will actually downgrade your original blog, as well as all duplications. Making the blog private will avoid this.

  I’m trying to, for a short time, blog remotely from an email. Blogger has this function and wordpress doesn’t, although I prefer WP for everything else. So, I wanted posts from blogger to be imported into WP everytime I post there. Anyhow, this clearly doesn’t happen as it seems to be manual only. Thanks.
