Automatic link updating?

    Here’s what I want to do: I want to create a bunch of posts and set them to automatically publish every couple of days. I get how to do that. BUT when each new post goes live, I want a “go to the latest post” link on my static homepage to be updated automatically to direct users to that latest post. How can this be done? Is there a plug-in or something?

    Please help. Once I get this solved, I’ll be really psyched with what I’ve got going and be ready to start in earnest.

    Hi there,

    Actually, there is a Widget (Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets) called “Recent Posts” which can have a title of whatever you’d like and can be set to display the title of as many recent posts as you’d like. You can set it to only appear on the main front page, though it would be off on the side (or depending on the theme, perhaps up top near the header).

    That would likely be your best bet!
