Automatic period after parentheses

  I get an automatic period after use of a parenthesis. I can’t make it go away, and often it represents incorrect punctuation. Ideas?

  Hi,

  The recent post on your site, The New Climate Change, has nine separate parenthetical phrases and statements, with no period after the right parenthesis in any case.

  Can you please provide more information on where and under what conditions this error has been occurring, and point to an example on the site?
