Automatic ping with own domain?

  If you use your own domain as per the new feature, I’m assuming that pings are NOT automatic, as they are with (blog).wordpress.com. Am I right?

  assume = ass + u + me :)

  It should still be pinging though. That’s a different part of the code.`
